ChloeN Posted February 27, 2023 Posted February 27, 2023 Whenever I rasterize a curve (original document settings set to 300DPI) the outcome is extremely blurry. When I try to export to png, jpeg or svg I have the same result. It gets extra bad when I try to downsize an image, at the point where taking a screenshot of my desktop app gives me a much better quality than the exported file. So far I have tried: toggling back and forth between pixel alignments, and tried all blend option combinations of the layer, antialiasing and blend gamma. I'm obviously working with a large file so the original resolution should not be a problem either. I combed through all the forum and reddit and while this seems to have been a common issue, it never gets resolved in any thread. This has been frustrating enough for me to consider quietly going back to AI. Quote
debraspicher Posted February 28, 2023 Posted February 28, 2023 Can you provide a sample so we can play with it? Also your exported samples? And I agree, blurry curves are incredibly disappointing. Quote

And I agree, blurry curves are incredibly disappointing. Here is an example with an EPS Logo. The curves in the app are fine. It's the rasterizing that is blurry, and the exports look the same https://www.loom.com/share/c83c45aae6074aa9b5c48abc1b7c0f3f Quote
