Hello everyone,
I have completed my digital planner using Affinity Publisher and exported it into a PDF file. Everything works well, except for one tiny problem.
If you go to page 3, every date on this calendar should link to the correct page of that day. I checked the AP file and all the hyperlinks are accurate, but once exported to PDF, they are all messed up. You can just check January and see - . the AP file links to the correct dates, but the PDF does not. I can't figure out why...
ALL other hyperlinks in the rest of the planner work fine. I wonder if this has something to do with the Table content? What I did was highlighting each number inside the tables and "Insert hyperlink". Is that the correct way to do it?
I would appreciate it if you could take a look and show me how to fix this problem. Attached are both the PDF and AP file.
I also want to thank everyone who has helped me with my last question about this file. Your comments have helped me fix different issues on this project. I really appreciate your help!
Thank you so much for your time
Truc

Congratulations on breaking the record for the most hyperlinks in a real Publisher document. I've done more than this but only by copying and pasting increasingly large blocks of linked text for testing purposes. I would never create a document like this in a program that doesn't have scripting. I'd probably have created it in MS Word where I could have set up the templates, albeit with less design control, and then scripted the automatic generation of the entire document for whatever calendar year I wanted. Someday when Publisher has scripting this will be much easier.

I don't know what the problem is but although it looks like Feb 1 is linked to page 60 and Feb 2 to page 61, they're both linked to page 62. If I delete everything from the document except for this one page and then delete everything off the page except this one calendar table, Publisher tells me they're both linked to page 62. I don't know why it tells me otherwise before I delete everything else but there is something funky going on.

This isn't the cause but you should take a look at the master page for this page because its June calendar is messed up. The one on the master isn't on the actual page and the one on the actual page is in the master layer even though it's not from the master. There are also some other random stray objects that aren't properly inherited. I think a good first step would be to fix this master page and page.

There are also lots of hyperlink names like "11
3" where
is a line break followed by a space and then the 3. Those aren't the issue but they're very confusing.

Cheers

Thank you. I have figured out how to fix the problem. I put a layer of square shape on top of each date and hyperlink the shape (instead of the number). Now it's working!! :)
