let's assume we have 2 objects and 'transform objects separately' is not activated

(everything works just fine)

but when we have TOS activated then only one object reveals its handles

(and this is olso fine)

image.png.a74801a3e48e2a17a593686823a57021.png

but when user wants to move (drag) selected objects then only that one with handles can move whole selection

the other one (other ones) is not able to do it and it breaks the selection

in fact whole selection is lost and only that one moved - becomes the whole selection

seq:

- turn on TOS

- select objA and objB (only objA has its handles)

- move objB

and this behaviour differs from v1 where user could use "change" which object has its handles (with shift+click)

It's now alt+click

"but why Leo, why?"
i'm not against alt+ or for shift+
but the question is why this has to be done with the modifier key?

why all objects in the selection cannot behave the same way?
it would be much much simpler for the user
and TBH if one would ask me, i would prefer to have regular selection bounding box with one inner object equiped with handles rather than to loose selection boundinbox
it would be more aligned to the regular selection (which it really is)

as for now it's not clear where am i (i have to look at the top bar to recognize it)

moreover - to make it even more easy to recognize the selection bounding box coluld have differen color

this is also something which almost all apps stick to and don't change from the beginning of the world - selection is one color...

why?
