Corrupt file created from Trial version V2

Recommended Posts

Hi I have this project file. Which was created in trial V2. Now when I have purchased license and I am opening the file, it takes long to open. And crashes instantly when doing some basic operations.

Can you please help me out? I cannot even copy contents of this project file to new one. I have tried many things. But the file just crashes Affinity Designer or Photo.

Thanks.

Hi Roberr, are you still having this issue with 2.0.3? I believe from your other posts that you're using Windows. Have you tried disabling hardware acceleration in Preferences > Performance?

Cheers

Download a free manual for Publisher 2.4 from this forum - expanded 300-page PDF

My system: Affinity 2.4.2 for macOS Sonoma 14.4.1, MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro)

Thank you for reaching out to me. Yes I use Windows. I have tried the the same steps with 2.0.3 but with that specific file created in trial version the app crashes. Maybe it is corrupted somehow. OR what. I don't know.

I redid the graphic in completely new project file with the new version, and works.
