Can't open downloaded new version 2

I have downloaded the new version 2 of all the applications and it came down to my Mac as:  "Affinity-designer-2.0.0 msix

My Mac will not open the file so that I can install it.

Looks like you have downloaded the Windows installer.
Go to store.serif.com/de/account/downloads and from there you should find a link to download the Mac version in a *.dmg archive.
