Ok, Have downloaded for Photo only. Nice interface, nothing much new but since the download here are my gripes:

1. Couldn't work out how to transfer over my presets so they have to be done again - not happy.
2. Why or why has the selection tool not been improved? It's the worse tool to use in this editor. It's a nightmare.
3. Since downloading it takes an eternity for me to import my RAW files. It used to be pretty quick, but not now. 

Any advice?

There are lots of different presets, which ones were you wanting to “transfer”?

Just saying “It's the worse tool to use in this editor.” doesn’t give anyone much to go on if they are trying to help you. Is there some specific thing which isn’t working well for you?

Are you using the latest version 2.0.3? There were quite a few improvements in that version.

Note: It’s better to ask different questions in different threads. That way the answers to the different questions don’t get all mixed up and it’s easier for other people to find answers.

Sorry just saw your responses. I re-set my Presets manually but I was referring to the B & W.

As for the selection tool I wrote directly to Affinity Technical and they have said they have no current plans to bring the tool in line with other editors at this point. But I find the selection accuracy unstable by comparison to Photoshop.

I upgraded to the latest version and have noticed some improvement, thank you.
