Ian-
We are waiting for a standard Windows MSI installer to be provided so that we can easily access the AP2.exe file. Serif's new MSIX installer method, although it has many good points, obfuscates being able to add the AP2.exe to other apps. Designer and Publisher aren't impacted because these programs are essentially used in isolation to non Serif programs. Photo for Photography, rather than design use, needs to be able to cooperate with other programs and plugins. I think due to Photo (Photography) not being so important these issues must have been lost during testing. There are workarounds but the best suggestion is to wait for Serif to issue the MSI installer, hopefully won't be too long. This debacle might have a positive outcome by illustrating how important inter operability is in the photo processing software space.
