how to change pt into inches on the ruler for template

Dear friends, could you help with the problem how to change pt (points as I understand) into inches on the ruler for template?

First, template has a particular meaning in Affinity, so I am not sure if you are talking about changing the units of a template or of some document you have created, either from scratch or from a template.

Anyway, one way to change the document units from the ruler is to right-click on the current units shown at the top left of the ruler (like on "px" in your screenshot) & change the units in the popup that appears. You can also change the document units from the APub File > Document Setup... menu item.
