Welcome to the forums @CJWoods

Which Affinity application are you using?

If you are using Publisher, use menu “Document → Resource Manager” and look at the Placed DPI values of your images/resources.
Any image/resource with a Placed DPI of less than 300 will normally be exported at less than 300 DPI.

If you are not using Publisher then we’ll need to come up with something else.

If you can give us a screen-grab showing us your Export Dialog, and another showing the More Dialog (available via the Export Dialog), then that will help with problem diagnosis.

Note: If you can share the document in this public forum then that would be useful, but not absolutely necessary.
