Max1983 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 Hello, i just bought Affinity Photo. I have a quick question and could not find an answer online yet. I use Affinity Photo on a Macbook and when i'm editing a photo with the trackpad I accidently rotate the canvas all the time. I haven't found a way of straightening the canvas 100% again after I accidently rotated it a few degrees. So my questions are: - is is possible to turn off the "rotate photo canvas function" of the trackpad in Affinity Photo? - how can i rotate the canvas back to right angles after i have accidently rotated it? Rotating it manually with the trackpad is not precise enough to straighten it 100%. my macbook is running OS 10.8.5, Affinity Photo 1.4 Thanks! Quote
Staff MattP Posted December 15, 2015 Staff Posted December 15, 2015 In Affinity Photo, go to Preferences, then choose Tools and then uncheck the option 'Enable canvas rotation with trackpad'. There is also a view menu item to reset rotation :) Thanks, Matt Quote

I must have been abolutely blind when I looked for those options and could not find anything :-). MattP 1 Quote
