I'm in a couple of Canon photography groups where they sometimes discuss photo editing software such as Affinity. Sometimes people say that Affinity is a great editor but (and I quote) "a rubbish raw file converter". I've seen this several times. I have no experience and therefore no opinion when it comes to testing and comparing different raw file converters, I just used whatever was there. What is your opinion on this? Do you all use the Affinity converter or do you convert your raw files in other software such as DxO PhotoLab for example? Is it worth the time and money to try out other converters and add another step to the workflow or is the Affinity raw converter fine?
