Hi everyone! :)

I've been using Affinity Designer for years on my old 2-in-1 Asus Vivobook Flip 14" and it worked so nicely. Unfortunately, it broke, so I need to buy another laptop/tablet. I really want another touchscreen, stylus-supporting 2-in-1 that I can use for all of my business needs and then also do art as a hobby on it too. Minimum 16GB RAM.

I would be so grateful for your recommendations and whether Affinity works well on them!

I am interested in buying a Surface Pro 8, HP Spectre x360 or Surface Laptop Studio - do you know if Affinity works on these and if they are good?

Well usually there is no real BEST one advice here, since the whole always also highly depends on several hardware & software factors here, like having a moderate CPU/GPU combo, enough RAM & SSD capacity, a good responsive touch display etc. Next all the possible and setup/configured software dependencies, like Win OS Version, Win libs, a supported GPU driver and good stylus support etc., which all might can trouble AD under certain circumstances. - IMO the actual Affinity software apps themself (like AD) aren't yet/still that good adopted to the latest/newest OS versions (Win 11 & MacOS Monterey) and their evolving updates.

So if actual Affinity apps do work overall good on some hardware depends on a bunch of side effects/factors here, beside some requirements for the hardware itself, mostly on OS versions, it's accompanied libraries and third party driver software.

Said that, I believe in order to make some hardware buying decision then, you should best orientate on certain sites which do test, compare and rate such 2-in-1 hardware, since only few users here in the forum will have used all or some of the possible 2-in-1 vendor models here.

Thus, see for 2-in-1 hardware tests, reviews, ratings etc. sites like these:

Thank you very much for your assistance with this! May I ask what devices you use?

I would love to hear from others who use 2-in-1 devices and what your experiences are too, and from staff at Affinity as to whether Windows 11 supports Affinity well.

I use Affinity apps under MacOS and thus Mac hardware (an iMac and MacBook Pro), I don't use it under Windows.
