I've been able to import my chosen Pantone books into Designer but there doesn't seem to be an option for working with a tint of a spot colour as in Illustrator e.g., 50% tint of Reflex Blue.

Is there an option to do this?

Hi FunkyCactus,

You should be able to find Tint on the Colour Panel - just click the 'burger menu' (the menu at the top right of the Colour panel) and choose 'Tint' from the options. Tint is automatically shown in the Colour panel for named colours (i.e. those found in the Pantone colours we ship with the product) or with global colours.

Hope that helps,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your reply.  The only place I can find Tints from the 'burger menu' on the Colour Panel is 'Add Chord to Swatch', which then gives the option for tints.

Is this correct?

If it is I would have thought that a slider would be available to choose the exact tint you want.

Thanks

Have you got the latest update? It added Pantone colours, global colours and tints. It's version 1.4 and was released this morning :)

That will be it then, just about to download the new update.

Thanks for your help!!

Andy.
