Hi team,

I'm trying to export my design to PDF with 3 layers, but when I load the PDF back into Affinity to check for errors I am finding that the two of the layers are compounding into the other layer. It is important that the layers are displayed as separate for when I send them off to the printer, they have very strict printing guidelines.

I've included the photo of my AF Design, and two of the PDF showing how the layers compound.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks again @Lagarto,

I tried to recreate your process with my AF session, but couldn't come up with the same results. I tried dragging everything within the canvas on all layers, but still had the issue. I then went ahead and made sure everything was cropped and that there was absolutely no information overhanging the canvas, but the issue is persisting.

Thanks for your continued help, though

Thanks, this design is for a DIY guitar pedal, and the advice I have had from the DIY GP community is to make sure it reads correctly in AF Designer.

So yes, I have cropped all of the objects to within the canvas, but still have the issue, though I have found that for most of the objects, their "curves" still extend beyond the canvas. The only exception is the flower in the top right hand corner. With this flower I have somehow managed to crop the curves so that they are within the canvas. I have also noticed that its "curves" tag in the toolbar on the right is the only tag that is in bold, none of the other "curve" tags for the other objects are in bold (refer to image.)

Could it be the uncropped curves which are causing this issue?

thanks
