Import Photoshop layer comps as artboards?

This feels like kind of an out-there request, but I occasionally help out with translating card games built in Photoshop using layer comps (so that things like borders and reused text elements have consistent positioning/formatting/etc.), and I feel like, short of actual support for layer comps in Affinity, being able to import layer comps as a series of artboards would be potentially very useful. I recognize that this is almost certainly a major Why Not Just, but I wonder if it's worth consideration as something to look into for future development.
