Ukkiwi Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 (edited) When I open an image into photo it initially has a white line along an edge, top or bottom, as per the example. If i zoom in then out again the line disappears. Not a huge issue but one I'd rather not have. Anyone know why it happens and how I might prevent/fix the problem? Granddaddy Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 People have been reporting this bug for at least 3-1/2 years. We were told it is an unfortunate artifact of how APhoto renders the image on screen and that Serif does not know how to fix it. But that was in January 2018. See, for instance, https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/116335-white-line-around-edge-of-image/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/59980-white-line-along-the-left-and-top-of-the-picture/ https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/53789-white-line-around-edge-of-zoomed-image/ Quote Affinity Photo 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6; Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 (MSI) and 1.10.6. Ukkiwi Posted August 10, 2021 Author Posted August 10, 2021 Glad I haven't cancelled my Adobe account yet. With these kind of issues and responsex, the laggy performance, no image management and lack of obvious tools it might be time to head back to photo shop and Lightroom. Quote
