How does one transform a layer?

Recommended Posts

I've used photo tools for like ... 15-20 years now. But Affinity Photo still baffles me. How un-human it's leaning curve is.

Unfortunately is Pixelmater not very usable after the latest OS X update, and I've therefor had to resort to Affinity ... or perhaps Preview ... or I could even go to enemy no 1: Adobe?

Working with Hitman: Agent 47 now. I have a layer I need to make smaller and fit a 155 X 155 box for publicity purpurses. How does one do that?

The ankers are greyed in the transform tool on my lower right. Untouchable. Helpfile is not very helpful,

Theres no 'CMD F' or similar key, where one can transform the layer as you wish (skew, bigger, smaller, rotate with different CMD, SHIFT, ALT and CTRL combinations).

In sort... just...

PleASe hElP!!!

I want to be cool and skilful with this app. Don't make me go to Adobe....

Aaah, super thanks Dale! It worked! Phew.

This should have another thread, but could you advice how you add presents (eg size in px) - different online publications use different sizes. It's so silly to have them all written on a piece of paper when you could make them as presents in your photo edit app ... how does one do that with Affinity Photo.

Help file not to much help for me here as well.

And thanks again !!

Jakob
