Disable Color Picker

Far too often am I trying to draw on a pixel layer with my hand resting on the screen does the color picker pop up and select my background color. Therefore most of the time I have to hover my hand above the screen which reduces drawing control and is quite uncomfortable. If there was an option to disable the color picker (or any other individual gesture control) it would be a huge improvement to the overall drawing experience.

Is Affinity going to address this? Essentially makes the app unusable for me. A real shame since I love the integration between programs and most everything else.
