Wish list: remember unclip canvas setting or a default setting

Recommended Posts

Illustration explains...

The pasteboard is hidden by default - or in Serif parlance: the view is always clipped to canvas.

When using a lot of Boolean operations on shapes - (and after a recent conversation I’ve had) constructing constraints groups - the pasteboard becomes an essential part of workflow. Some work, such as when retrieving and importing a series of svgs to work with, leads to a lot of closing the artwork. Closing the artwork hides the pasteboard every time.

* * Having to constantly unclip canvas after closing artwork briefly, quickly becomes really tedious.

So.. either, a setting in defaults, or simply make the document remember which it was set to please. Thank you.

Words are crude implements, difficult to get perfect, easy to get tied in knots with, and often - usually - misunderstood, which is why 'tolarence' is the best word of all.

The word "professional" fits us all - amateur, semi-pro, beginner, advanced, middle, beyond it all, and on....., because professionals are tolerant.
