Ray D
I searched, but couldn't find an answer to this question. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but when I do a focus merge I lose the images listed in the sources pane any time I select a tool such as the magnify tool. Assuming I don't do that since the clone tool is selected automatically, and that's what I want, I can use the clone tool and edit the image as needed. Then when I save the project and reopen it later, none of the images are shown in the sources pane. If I missed an area that needed to be cloned from one of the source images, I can no longer do that. I'm on Win10, Affinity Photo 1.9.1.943 beta, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with the latest studio driver. lepr
Welcome to the Affinity forums Closing the document discards the source images. Until closing, you can safely use any tools and the sources will be available when you reactivate the clone tool. Requests have been made for an option to store source images in the document.
