Rouvers
When I import an Adobe Illustrator file, the text is converted into curves layers for each character rather than a text block. Is there a setting to change this? Regards, Mark
Paul Mc
It looks like the original text was already converted to curves on saving from AI. Do you have the original file and access to Illustrator to check?
wonderings
I can't reproduce what you are having an issue with. I made an 8.5 x 11 page in Illustrator, filled with placeholder text. Saved as .ai file. Opened .ai file in designer, text is fully editable as it should be. Same if I drop the .ai file into a Designer page that is already open. You should it is not converted to curves already in Illustrator? If that is stock vector art from a site it is most likely already converted to outlines/curves. Rouvers
Thanks for your response. You’re right that the images comes from a stock image site. Doesn’t make any sense to me why it would be in this format such that you can’t edit the text which is clearly required in order to use the image as it comes with Lorem Ipsum.
