indicate active data entry field in Resize document/canvas

Recommended Posts

When I go to resize a document or the canvas, the dialog comes up showing the current dimensions, but there is no indication of which data entry field is currently active. So, I have always clicked in, say, the width field before entering the new required width (which then causes the field to be outlined in blue and the insertion cursor to become visible). Then, I discovered quite by accident, when I started typing a new width before clicking in the field, that that field was the one that was active, and my typing automatically overwrote the current value. There was no visible indication that the field was the currently active one for data entry (i.e. no outline or cursor).

It would be nice, when opening the dialog, if the data entry field for Width (or whichever is the default one on opening a dialog of this nature) could be highlighted with the blue outline and the insertion point cursor, so that it was clear that any data entered at this point would be going to the Width field. The same highlight that happens when you click in the field.
