cekuhnen Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Hi Affinity team. I teach in industrial design and we do a lot of presentation boards. I only have Adobe CS 6 so I am not sure about the cloud version. My students often because they are too lazy or don't know better do complete boards in PS including text and vector and we all know that this is not a good workflow. Saving as PDF and opening it in Illustrator does not even allow you to edit the text and vectors created in PS. And that is where Photo is out standing. The fact that layers maintain their res despite what transformation you add, the fact that all vectors and text added in Photo can be natively edited also in Designer is firkin fantastic. Finally a workflow done right and not kept the same way as Adobe wants. When I was in high school for Mac there were many pixel and vector design tools but they all died out - so it is really great to see that there is again an option. Photo and Designer are two apps but because you share the same file it is less an issue than the Adobe solution. PERFECT JOB!
