Smarter and Easier Color palette creation

Hi I find it pretty hard to obtain what I want to do with affinity designer. I want to create a color palette from a selection like a shape fill or all the colors within an artboard not the entire document... How do I do that?

you can create a palette either from your current document or another image. If you export your artboard (or temporarily hide all others) it should do the trick without too much hassle.
