MjL323 Posted September 1, 2020 Posted September 1, 2020 (edited) HDR merge starts to work, the alignment works but at some point during HDR merge or tonemapping, Affinity Photo shuts down. I am using version 1.8.5 and this is the first time I have used the new version for HDR. I had managed to do one focus merge successfully, but attempting a second one has caused Affinity Photo to fall over. Edited September 1, 2020 by MjL323 Additional failure in another area. Quote
Staff stokerg Posted September 3, 2020 Staff Posted September 3, 2020 Hi @MjL323 and Welcome to the Forums. As a quick test, could try one HDR merge, then restart the app and try another? I wonder if its a memory issue and restarting the app should clear that. Also, what operating system are you running Affinity on? Quote
MjL323 Posted September 3, 2020 Author Posted September 3, 2020 I had tried merging full resolution images (from Sony A7R ii), which seems to be the problem. I have retried both HDR and focus merging with smaller files and they both worked. I am running Affinity on Windows 10, version 1903 and I have 8GB RAM. Quote
