texfire
Hi, I'm simply trying to create a multi-level bulleted list, with a triangle line 1, dot line 2, hash line 3. I've tried to create a paragraph style, but the "Level" choice is grayed out as 1. Sorry to be a noob... Chris
GarryP
Welcome to the forums. Can you please explain what you mean by “a triangle line 1, dot line 2, hash line 3”? A visual example would be very useful.
texfire
Hi, Sorry I just mean that rather than doing a list with indented sub-lines all starting with a standard bullet, I want the first line with a Triangle shape, the next subline indented and started with a dot/standard bullet. ETC.... ▶︎ BASIC TEXT •SUBLINE TEXT ⁃2nd SUBLINE TEXT Hopefully that explains better what I meant by triangle, dot, dash. Chris
GarryP
I’ve put a short video together showing one way you can do what I think you want. The video includes a few mistakes which I put right, so that might help also. This method seems more awkward than it should be but it’s the only way I can get the Levels to work properly (e.g. if I don’t set the Type to Numbering, and then back to Bullet, then I can’t set the Level for some reason that I don’t understand). I hope this helps. (Maybe someone else can post a quicker method, which also works.) Edit: I've added an example document which might also help. 2020-07-27_10-07-34.mp4 bullet-points.afpub Edited July 27, 2020 by GarryP Added example document.
