Juergen Merkens Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 I switched from GIMP to Affinity and I miss the possibility to use colors across images. I try to explain it with an example: For re-coloring the eyes I need the colors #009100 and #2996FE. This color I can also create and use via RGB Hex. They are also shown as last used colors. Now I open another image file and there the last used colors are empty. So I have to define the colors again using the hex values. At GIMP I have the last 12 colors globally available for all files. Is there a way how I can get something like this under Affinity? Quote
GarryP Posted February 26, 2020 Posted February 26, 2020 Welcome to the forums. You can create custom palettes which can be used in any document. Look in the Help under “Panels / Swatches panel”. Juergen Merkens 1 Quote
Juergen Merkens Posted February 26, 2020 Author Posted February 26, 2020 Thanks for the quick answer. I implemented it directly and so it works great for me. Had to translate from English to German when searching for "Panels / Swatches panel". But I found it. If someone has a similar problem in the German version of the program - in German it's called “Farbfelder”. Quote
