How can I right click on MacBook Pro?

Recommended Posts

Hi - newbie question - if I want to 'right click' while using my MacBook Pro, how do I do that? I need to bring up a menu that I know is there if I can right-click - but can't figure out how to do that without a mouse with buttons! Thanks :)

Hi Nicole and welcome!

By default it's a two-fingered tap or click on the trackpad. You can also hold down the control key and do a single click.

There are other options in System Preferences - Trackpad - Point & Click:
