Replace multiple linked files in resource manager.

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Something I noticed in Publisher which is missing and I believe I've seen in some of the Adobe products.

I have a publisher document with 10's of linked images, all of which resided in one directory. I have moved this directory and therefore publisher rightly doesn't know where to find them. Currently I have to use resource manager and click replace on each linked image and point it to the same image but in the new location. I recall in at least one Adobe app (can't remember which sorry!) that when you relink one of the images that if it sees the other images in the same directory it will automatically relink the others.

I think this would be a huge time saver and a great feature.

J
