  1. Hello We started Affinity Designer today. It greeted us with a lovely message telling us to update to the latest version. We downloaded it, ran the installer, it thought for a couple of minutes and said "Install failed". Now, we can't start the version that was working before. We just get a message that the link has expired. Our PC is effectively no use to us, this is the only thing we use it for. We have paid quite a lot of money for this PC and we have supported Affinity because we are a small business like you. We aren't computer people. We just want to be able to do our work. Every time we have tried to do an upgrade to Designer, it's broken our PC. Please let us know how we get working again.

I've already put in a refund request, hoping it can get fixed or refunded. But placed this here just in case if there are others who have experienced the same problem
  3. Hi All I installed the 1.6.0 upgrade a few days ago and it worked fine. Yesterday, on opening, I got a message telling me that a New Version was available. I followed the link, downloaded 1.6.1 and attempted to install, but about half way through validating the install, I got a message to close Affinity Designer before continuing. I selected Close the Application and pressed OK. Then I got a message telling I was trying to use an unavailable Network Resource. It suggested I use a different source on my C drive, so I pressed OK and a new message suggesting that the Affinity.MSI file could not be found. I was unable to find it on my machine. The installation file I saved to my Downloads Folder was a .EXE file, not an MSI file. Do I need to uninstall 1.6.0 manually before installing the .EXE file from my Downloads folder? All suggestions gratefully received.
  4. I have been trying to install afininty on my computer for a few days now and have been unsuccessful every time. I am always met with a window that says please download Microsoft.NET. I have downloaded Microsoft.NET many times. From the link which affinity staff recommended and from the link in the pop up. I have then restarted my computer as was suggested but I am still met with the same pop up which tells me to install Microsoft .NET. I have tried everything I can do but I still have exactly the same problem. I have checked afinity's install FAQ but this has not helped me but I did check my computer and found that it does meet all the requirements needed for afinity i.e windows 8, 64 bit. Please could you help as I would like to use afinity but I am currently unable to. Thank you
