  1. Hi! I am learning how to use Affinity Desktop after using Word for many years to format books for publishing. I am trying to generate my first Table of Contents, but after selecting Header 1 and Header 2 styles, I am only seeing the main heading (Header 1). I am not seeing Header 2 nor Header 3 which I tried to create. After my research I do realize that I'm supposed to select Header 1, Header 2 and Header 3 from the Styles section, but for some reason I can't select anything. My screen is below. s
  2. Hi...Designer Newbie here.... (obviously). I'd like to create a basic footer on a master page in Publisher that includes the document title, (left justified), a page x of y (right justified), and a rule above the text. Something like: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- My Document Title Page 5 of 9 I've been fiddling with a one line table, and just putting in the text without a table...but how can I get the rule? Or is there a better way altogether to do a footer? Thanks. --- Larry
  3. I created a text box for headers at the top of my pages. I want the headers on even (left) pages to say "Chapter One", "Chapter Two", etc. while the headers on the odd (right) pages contain the name of the chapter. So I know I need to make each chapter a Section, and I inserted the Section Name as a field for the odd page header. But how can I create an automatically incrementing field for the chapter number as a word?
