I have a diamond-pattern image I want to use as a fill layer. I create a fill layer, choose type "bitmap," and select the file, but the pattern becomes tiny. (See below.) I cannot find the setting to resize/stretch a bitmap pattern.
I'm very sad to see that bitmap fill is extended out of its boundaries - if i would like to do checker fill i have to move handles out of canvas to hide this effect, otherwise there is kind of cross or line made by wider bitmap fill than whats on the rest of canvas. I hope its clear from screenshots, anyway would be GREAT yet basic feature to be able to set dimensions by numbers. PLEASE!!! Radeon Pro 580 8192MB on macOS 10.13.6 It has also weird wavy top-edge: PS: i started with 2*2 px checker then i made it 20x20 but it looks like it still put one more pixel from the place of its origin in both directions...
Where has the gradients panel gone, I can only create a new fill layer with a gradient and then set it to a solid color - I can no longer with 1.5.1 set the gradient or fill layer to a bitmap fill (was one of the features of AP that I really liked) Is this a bug or just a feature that has been deleted on the mac ?? Or is it tucked away in some different section ?
I'm enjoying playing around with AD and I've discovered I can create styles using my extensive collection of seamless tiling bitmap fills so nice! Now my next question is say I wanted to share a style that uses a bitmap fill does a copy of the applied bitmap get stored within the AD styles file? or would I need to supply the bitmap externally in a zip file? Of course I would only share bitmaps that I have created and have the the rights to share. :)
