  1. Hi there: I have a question that I am curious about: I want to take seascapes that have all sorts of objects in them including people. The trouble that I am experiencing is that waves move. I have seen some ideas in other forums, but I don't that they are really going to work for me at this time, like long exposures to smooth the waves, dual cameras working at exactly the same time, and special lenses that can do very rapid wide-angle panos. None of these solutions really rock my boat at the moment - are there any other suggestions that anyone else may have found to work? I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks so much. -Michael 😄
  2. It could be possible to have preset for the Equation filter as we have for Procedural? It is quite annoying to re-insert a formula every time when we open the Equation filter. We have to open a file where we have stored our equation and then to copy & paste it in the Equation filter. Waste of time...Much easier for us to open Equation filter and from the Preset panel we just pick it up. Maybe some basic Preset made by Affinty team will be welcome. (such as waves equation, shape equation, wobbly equation, and so on) Thx a lot.
  3. Hello Does anyone know how to easily recreate frequency/sound waves in Affinity Designer like in the image I've attached? I really need to learn how to do this but I can't figure out an easy with in Designer. Thanks in advance, Matt
  4. I have been trying to create some realistic water ripples in AP. I am after a general randomised overall ripple, not the radiating circle type. This is not an urgent need, it is simply an exercise I set myself as part of really learning AP in depth after years of doing things its competitor’s way. AP has a ripple filter but it has no independent control over amplitude and wavelength and no means of randomisation. It really isn’t suitable for this particular task. PS has an excellent wave filter but the whole point was not to use it!! I found two plugins for this: Redfield Water Ripples and Flaming Pear Flood. The former is Windows only and the latter doesn’t seem to work in the AP plug in environment. I tried using a high contrast black and white image of rippling water as the basis for the Displace filter but the results were less than satisfactory. So does anyone have any suggestions for doing this in AP?
