It can be quite common to the get the error The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect when trying to install our apps. This error is normally caused by a corrupted download and can be resolved by re-downloading the .exe again. If you get the issues again after re-downloading, please try downloading the .exe using a different browser.
