Do I make wrong way, or really cant handle Photoshop artboards any affinity product in 2023??? When I open a very simpe PSD file (it has 5 artobard and one-one image in it) only put the 5 images one huge artobard. Photo and Designer too. -
Can anyone help here? I opened a file from psd with a mockup inside, but when opened the view of the mockup is messy. Any suggestions on what should I do?

Hi! I'm using Affinty Photo, And I made a few templates on affinty photo! And I want to sell them on websites, But I want to use PSD bc a lot of people using Adobe Photoshop. And PSD is the way to work on templates! When I export it on PSD and then I try to open on photoshop It's taking the group and make it like an Image.. So I cannot work on it.. Can someone help me please?

I like working with Publisher. The software is clear and intuitive in many areas. My wish 1): The possibility to take over full tone channels from PSD image files and to be able to assign them to a global colour as desired. My wish 2): A real design mode. Affinity seems to save previews in the project file. Nevertheless, all images are reloaded in the background every time, even if they are only linked. This costs an enormous amount of RAM and slows down the computer during this time. My wish 3) A separation-preview. -
Hello, I have a problem where I need to export a PSD file in which it contains the 3D effect, but when I do it, the image that was previously a vector, is rasterized and its important that it remains a vector image, I have a certain urgency to have this type of file, I don't want to have to migrate to other software. Apparently there is a problem with the effects with light direction. Another problem is that some vector groups are also being rasterized. -

We can open PSD files in Affinity Photo but it doesn't transcribe correctly, that is, colours change radically and layers are missing. Is there a reason for this and have you a solution please? I am shooting Fujifilm GFX importing to Capture One, exporting variants in TIFF 16bit, where our retoucher commence her process in PS. She sends us the retouched layered PSD files to be tweaked if necessary. We were shocked to find that everything was off. We purchased the whole Affinity suit thinking that the transitions would be seamless. -
Hi, I'm new user with affinity photo, so I didn't use previous version of the program. I'm triying to open a file (.psd) with smart objetc inside. In all cases, when I open the file in Affinity Photo, the smart object appears with a problem like here: Apparently, the program does not respect the proportions and display of the smart object. That is why it is not possible to modify it and work with the document. As you can see, the problem is the same with Affinity photo files , where the original document modifies the smart object as well: I suppose that the option should be work, like this https://affinity.serif.com/es/tutorials/photo/desktop/video/393648146/ I tried with different kind of files with smart objects, and always appears the problem. Hi, I am trying to work on a children’s book and am hiring someone to edit my pages to be ready to upload to Amazon KDP (kindle direct publishing). The person I’m working with said he would need PSD files. When I try to export as PSD it seems to work until I find the documents in my files. Every time I have tried this they always end up being exported as PNG’s. If anyone knows a solution please let me know! I’m relatively new to this so I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m making a mistake in the process.

Hello, everyone. I updated Affinity Photo to its 1.9 version yesterday. I need to work on some mockups, but when I open the PSD I'm going to use, I see these weird shapes – but only on the layer with the embedded document. I'm not sure if this is a software issue, or if it's a problem with my graphics card (this had never happened before), but I thought maybe I could get some guidance/assistance here. Attached you'll find an screenshot of the issue. Thanks for your help.

Hello, I am having issues exporting files as PSD and then having someone open them in Photoshop. I work with people who use Photoshop and Affinity Photo so this is crucial for my team for me to be able to export them and open them where I have left off or for me to be able to save a template. I have tried all of the options in the export options including preserve accuracy, preserve edibility, and Final Cut Pro X with no success. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this is super frustrating. Thanks! Daniel -
Hey there, So I cannot cannot open my PSD files...I’m using the (updated) IPad 2018 and the newest Version of Affinity. I want to import them from my iPad ( not cloud, Dropbox etc) . (The psd files are mockups with multiple layers.) The thumbnails are fainted so I can’t even click on them.. can anyone help me please ? THANK YOU ❤️

I have enable psd smart object and import the psd mockup. However the quality of the photo is lose and turn dim a little bit. What’s wrong with that? I have seen layout and smart object work. Just the quality different. -
Hello I made these psd files real quick to highlight the problem I am having I don't know if its an affinity bug or a blackmagic bug but didn't know where else to post it case 1 mountainforfusion.psd this one works in fusion 9 and davinci resolve 16 studio versions does not work in fusion 16 studio fusion studio 16 is the stand alone version case 2 STARSFOR_FUSION.psd this one has groups in it fusion 9 and studio 16 it shows up as black and in davicni resolve 16 it shows up as white only, no colors remove the groups same thing with fusion 9 and fusion 16 studio shows up in black, but does work in davinci resolve 16 STARSFOR_FUSIOn-nogroups.psd -
Hello, I can't import .psd file to Affinity designer(ipad). In the import page, I can't choose .psd file. If I choose .psd file in my folder, it will force to open in Procreate. Even if I export .psd from AD, I can't import it. Is there any solution? :( AD ver.1.8.3 ipad ver. 13.5

How do you use a PSD file in Affinity Photo? I would like to use a PSD 3Dbookcover template. I haven't found out how to open the PSD Book Cover file from my downloads. Any further information on how to accomplish this in Affinity. -

Greetings. I created a file IN Affinity Photo. When I export the .afphoto file to a PSD and go back to open the PSD in Affinity, the file does not open, with the error message "The File Could Not Be Parsed." I created two files (inside and outside of a matchbook) and my local printer could only open 1 of the files. Why would this one (randomly) not work? Again, when I go back to open it in Affinity, I get the error message, "The File Could Not Be Parsed." Thoughts? Thank you.
