  1. Hi, I talked about it during beta. I would like affinity photo to have a image / "apply image" similar to photoshop. Being able to apply a channel to a layer while changing it's blending mode. I use this to : color correct getting much better color (natural look), its different than vibrance. much better. better black and white My whole portfolio have extensive use of this feature : No other feature can create such colors : http://anstellos.deviantart.com/gallery/ ps: I try hard to get the similar result in affinity. It yet cannot do it. I find myself to go back to photoshop for this feature only. That's a shame, your soft almost tick all the boxes but this is a big one.
  2. I 3D rendered an image with a shadow channel, I am trying to remove the background of the rendering with the shadow channel so that the background is removed but the shadow remains. The screenshot outlines what im trying to achieve with photoshop. Is this possible with Affinity? If so direction on how to do so would be greatly appreciated Perspective1.afphoto
  3. Hi, as far as I can get (unless I miss something) there's still room for new features in the Apply Image area, which in PrePress is paramount (second only to Curves). For instance Apply Image: channel on channel (example: one document open, apply the Red channel from layer A on Green channel, Soft Light, 50% opacity). It would be astonishing if you could borrow channels from on-the-fly conversion to a different colorspace. E.g. a RGB document: Apply the "a" channel from Lab to the Composite, Overlay (being the a of Lab calculated without the need of duplicating the document). Besides, Calculations in PrePress is often very useful too (New Alpha channel which is the result of, say, Difference of Green and Blue). Thank you, Davide Barranca
