Affinity Photo was fairly fast before Monterey on my M1, now it takes a lot longer to start up as well as the spinning wheel quite often appearing now, quite a few tasks without any real heavy load and the spinning wheel appears. Not unusable but just not great. When I first got my M1, Affinity Photo native was super fast ... now it is not in such a great state. Perhaps some caches etc need to be cleared or something ?? A fresh start or install ? -
Sorry to report this, but upon upgrading my M1 air to the new M1 Pro, updating my Affinity suite, and using the very latest Mac OS, Affinity Photo, my bread and butter app, is now horrendous. The beach ball accompanies nearly everything I do. The text feature has a full second lag. This never happened before, which is why I loved the Affinity Apps. Now it is a matter of 1. type in new text box. 2. wait to see if it registers. 3. watch the beach ball. Goodness this is hard to work with. When can we expect a fix? -
Whenever I start Affinity Photo my OS looks like this. I never saw such error in any other app. Is that normal ?
