  1. V1.9.3, MAC OS 11.2.3, MacBook Pro 16" 2019 built-in screen, no exceptional hardware or software running. At default screen resolution. Expected: When I have a circle shape and set the stroke width to a high number, I expect the stroke to go al the way from the outside to the outline of the circles filling. What happens: A gap appears when the width exceeds the diameter of the circle. Also the shape of the stroke has different irregularities at different widths. Reproduction instructions: Create a new document. draw a circle shape set a stroke color and set the position of the stroke to outside. increase the width so it exceeds the diameter of the circle. a gap appears between the stroke and the shape.
  2. For example, the shapes are 4mm x 4mm, the strokes' thickness are 24pt, the strokes don't stick to the shapes.
  3. New crop of issues with the beta contour tool. 1) Instead of "px" the radius box on the toolbar now claims "in", but with a bizarre scaling factor. Very, very roughly a reported "300in" is about 1 real inch on my 8.5x11 document. My 15" diagonal 1920x1080 laptop screen certainly doesn't have 300 pixel/inch density, and the number displayed doesn't seem affected by viewport scaling (CTRL+, Z command). Equally certainly, a contour width of 300 inches will not fit on a 8.5"x11" page, but I can fit multiple "300in" contours on such a page. 2) If you drag a contour far enough (range of "1200in" to "2500in" in the attached sample document), a messed up secondary contour appears, clipped by the original curve. I presume this is due to numerical issues in the process of approximating the contour curve. Test Closed Curve-1.9.0.767.afdesign
  4. Hello everybody, I was just about to create a halftone screen from vectors in Designer. But now I have a problem. My approach: 1. I first created a 1pt dotted line. 2. I converted these to get individual surfaces. 3. Then I duplicated it (Ctrl + J) and moved it. 4. Then I created more duplicates with Ctrl + J. 5. Now I have started to give each duplicate a contour, which I have always strengthened by 0.1 pt. But from a contour thickness of 2pt a distance forms between the surface and the contour, which increases further and further when I increase the contour thickness (see attached picture). I think that shouldn't really happen when you're reinforcing a contour. Put a pink line where the problem starts. I'll also enclose my file so that you can take a closer look at it.
