Video shows AD v1 vs v2, where we created two curves with Pencil tool and tried to Add them. Version 1 makes single curve out of both while version 2 just deletes the curves. Version 2 works as expected if Auto-Close is turned on (not available in version 1), but if you use Sculpt, the curve is auto-closed on first pause of drawing line and when you continue from last point, the curve becomes open again, even though Auto-Close is still ticked on. We need just the outer contour of this shape for Laser CNC. Which is a single click operation in other vector editors failed in Affinity Designer 1.10.5 completely and works with way better in Affinity Designer 1.3.2 though some simple errors appear. SourceElement.pdf
