  1. In our studio we lock all files to Read Only on our Macs that are archived to make sure they are never saved over as we refer back to them and re-use parts of files/artwork regularly. In the last update, version 2.2 we have noticed that we can't open locked files, instead we receive an error: --------------- Failed to open file /Volumes/Work Library/0585/Wine 2pp DL Tasting Card May 2023/Working FIles/2pp DL Wine Tasting Menu Leaflet-01.afpub The file could not be opened. --------------- This happens when we try to open and view the file on an external hard disk, and and when we pull it onto our desktop, we then have to go to "command i" for information and then go to Sharing and Permissions then setting the Privilege to Read & Write - we can then open the file - we'd prefer to keep the file Read Only and be able to open it without all of these steps, it used to work perfectly in the previous version.
  2. This morning I upgraded to version 2.2. Since then, I cannot open any write-protected files from a NAS or an optical medium such as Blu Ray. A message appears that the file in question is possibly being used by someone else. I can only close this message. Happens with Photo, Designer and Publisher. This problem did not exist with version 2.1.1. Can anyone confirm this? Windows 10 Pro, Version 22H2.
