Exporting a sequence of pages overwrites existing files without warning. When a user exports a sequence of pages there's currently no warning that it will overwrite files naming the sequence <filename>_{x}, where x is the page number. If files already exist with this filename they will be overwritten with no warning to the user. This is a problem as this could overwrite existing work/files. Proposed Solution: There should be some sort of preference to indicate whether a warning should be given on filename conflicts. ***NOTE: Also occurs in beta 1.9.0.843

Hi! When trying to re-export all pages from project in Publisher it does not warn of exisiting copies or overwrite/export anything. Pop-up with progress bar looks ok but no new exported images are saved to disk, old ones still there. Should warn of exisiting copies and require Cancel or Continue/Overwrite. Tried this with latest version 1.8.5.703 and exporting PNG. Created new subfolder and exported new copies to that folder without problem. /Hackej

Hi guys, I have a 8-page document and when I want to save just one page, I export this particular page, change the file's name and save. And Publisher saves it with the extension _1 added to the file's name. Every single time. It even happens, when I'm replacing the file with the same name - it asks me if I want to replace the previous file in the folder, I click on yes but the files isn't replaced. Instead a new one with _1 is created. So I have to delete the original file first and then rename the new one. Not cool. Any idea where's the problem? Thanks. David
