  1. Hi, First of all kudos for Affinity Publisher. For a first Beta, it's absolutely impressive. One feature that I really need in order to consider replacing Quark and InDesign with Affinity Publisher is the integration with Antidote (https://www.antidote.info) – and I'm pretty sure that many users who work regularly with french text will agree. Is anything planned? Thx
Raymond Gallant
  3. Please consider adding native support for Druide Informatique Inc. "Antidote" French/English grammar checker in Affinity Publisher. You would have to talk with them as they need to develop a plug-in on their side that would interface your API. See https://www.druide.com/en/ for more details on their product. Regards, MB
  4. Hi, Alex here from Druide informatique, editor of Antidote (https://antidote.info). Some of our users are requesting the ability to use both software (Designer and Antidote) simultaneously and as seamless as possible. How can we deliver that to our mutual users? Thanks, Alex
  5. He When Affinity schould collaborate to integrate Antidote (Druide informatique) to all these soft :-)
  6. Hi, I am owning Publisher, Designer and Photo from Affinity. Although I really enjoy working with your softwares, I would like to point you to the possibility to integrate the software Antidote in order to correct in French and in English. In my modest view, this is a must for any publishing software as yours. If you don't know about this incredible software, go here : https://www.antidote.info/en/ I am not an employee of Antidote, but a user who would like to work directly in Publisher without having to use Word as a middleman in the process of publishing. I know Covid-19 is slowing down communications, but I hope to spike your interest. Regards, Louis
  7. Hello, Alex here from Druide informatique, editor of Antidote (https://antidote.info). would like to see what’s possible in regards of integrating both products. reference :
  8. Hello, As enthusiastic Publisher fan, and accessorely story writer and book editor, I wonder if any collaboration with Druide's Antidote is on tracks. Also, yet as a beta, will there be a way to get the auto-correction disabled when texts are not in English? Anyway, in my point of view, thanks for your excellent job! For my use, Publisher is already a better tool than InDesign. Best Regards to all.
  9. Hi folks, Using Publisher is allready almost delightfull! I remember when jumping from QXpress to InDesign, lots of glitches and frustrations where poping on screen again ans again: here NOT! I had some troubles with the search and replace, though, but I guess it was my way of clicking too many times on the "Replace all" button. ;/ As small editor, one thing would made of Publisher THE total ID killer: Antidote integration. As you probably all know, typography is a quite demanding matter (and maybe in french printing even more? - Or at least with different glyphs) and transfering text is sometimes a play with lots of unwanted changes. Is this feature in the pipeline already, or will it be in a near future?
