@AdamW / @fde101 I am running 1.7.1. I replaced the afphotos with jpgs and - tada - no more weird areas in the bleed areas. However, could I get some cutting marks as well?

Export with bleed returns these awkward results. Not on all images, but half of them. How can this be avoided?
