I'm using 2.10 and was really hoping by now to be able to batch process open files, AND also to be able to batch process files via drag and drop. These seem like pretty serious limitations in the batch feature that many have been waiting for. I'm hoping I'm just missing where to find these enhancements. Please.

I ran into the same issue. I had 19 .heic files (I believe from the same Iphone) to process, 16 I could open and 3 crashed the program. If it helps, I could upload a bad one or one of each. Jim

Thanks a bunch Callum, That was it. Installed fine. Now I have 5 versions of .NET on my machine, something Microsoft should think about. So far I am both impressed and perplexed about Designer. I was optimistic enough to go ahead and purchase to get the sale price. I'm going to keep learning it as time allows and will probably fire a few questions your way. Jim

I downloaded the trial version of Designer. When I double click it I get a splash screen, then nothing further happens. Sits there forever till I close it. The first try Windows (7-sp1) warned me that the program did not install properly. Further tries, not even that.
