Some details would help. What do you mean by ‘lagging’? What are you doing when it lags?
What are you doing when it crashes?
What are you doing when it freezes? Are you sure it is frozen and not just doing some heavy-duty processing?
I just successfully did a 49 image panorama on my 12.9 2nd gen. It took over 30 minutes to do the final render, but it worked. Would you consider that ‘lagging’?

Hi, my name is Ed Meinel and am now retired. I used to work at The Aerospace Corporation and did research in image processing and exploitation. It is amazing what Affinity has done for the iPad Pro. I remember trying to do advanced algorithm development on a CDC 6600 or PDP 11! There are some things that I would like to do on the iPad but no one has the ability. Oh well, I’m retired.
