Toltec---That works as far as displaying the Exif information and is what I'm looking for sometimes but I also want to be able to enter information that will be permanently attached to the photo such as caption information and photo credit information.

How do I access file information in my photos where description, camera data, etc. can be found?

In my work, I receive photos from a number of sources. Each of them has a name or file name. I have to change that name before I save it to a style that fits my file criteria. In Photoshop, I would just do a save as and change the name before saving it as a jpeg. With Affinity, if I do a save as it will change the photo to an Affinity file photo. Is there a way around this?

Gabriel---It took me a try or two, but that worked. I'll have to get used to using "export" rather than the "save as" in Photoshop. I like your straighten option better than what I was using. Thanks for your help. Affinity Photo is now the leading choice for my Photoshop replacement!

I am a long-time Photoshop user (CS-2 currently) and am looking for a program to use on a new computer that will do basic operations that I have been doing routinely in Photoshop. Among many other things, I photograph high school football games. I have a Windows 7 system and use a Nikon D-7100 camera. After shooting a game, I put all the images from the shoot in a file with the name and date of the game. I then go through all images and select the best shots. I put these in a file for further editing. Then I open each image, straighten and crop them to 8 x 10 inch size. I also do any corrections needed (color, exposure, etc.) and save all the 8 x 10's in another file. I then burn a CD of that file. With Affinity Photo, I was able to straighten and crop the images but couldn't figure out how to re-size them (reduce or enlarge) to 8 x 10s. How do I perform this operation?
