Thank you for your help. It seems like the problem may be confined to that page and I'm able to copy the other pages to a new document. I'll just have to make the text work without the picture, which would really have been better & I worked all day on it yesterday until it "froze". But if nothing else, you've shown me some alternative possibilities, that there are layers I can't find, to keep better track of my layers, and maybe best of all, that forums can work. Thank you again for the quick answers, Wosven.

ACtually transform comes up but the dimensions both before & after transforming don't make sense. I guess I have to learn to be more careful not to multiply layers. I don't know what the transform is working on.

Thank you so much for your quick responses..it won't select in a way that I can resize it (there is an outline but transform doesn't show up & I can't drag it.

My tools in Publisher don't work, including some cut and paste and dragging. I've tried inpainting and paintbrush and eraser-both brush and floodfill. Neither tablet mode, with pen or finger, or with the keyboard.

Sorry, not good at using forums, although tried, first search yielded 8 answers which weren't my question, second yielded 1208 and I only have one hour before class. My tools don't work in Publisher, Cut and Paste doesn't work, therefore no work-arounds. Have restarted both whole program & computer several times, including overnight. I need to be finished in 1 hour- teaching classhave tried to use various methods. obviously an amateur but use it a lot (and miss Page Plus- am still trying to figure out an easy replacement for cut-out studio. I used to cut and paste there but now that yields wacky results and can't cut & paste anyway, or even drag within page, either in Publisher of Photo orientation- I can't think of the term you use.). Just saw the tutorial on in-painting which is great but now no tools work. I may have clicked some button but can't figure out what I did. OT05L4HA as taught.afpub

I have loved Page Plus for many years as it was easy to use but gave so much control! I mostly make note cards. Are there going to be folded and small (labels, etc) options for new documents in Affinity Publisher? Even better, in addition, would be an option for 2 note card size cards (4.25x5.5) to be printed from one letter sized sheet. With the tent card or portrait card in Page Plus I was able to work around for that but it would be great as an option. I am having a lot of trouble figuring out how to do it in Publisher. I don't see a way to make rows and columns in the document set-up or spread setup menus either which would also make it easier. I also use the align a lot and have recently learned to use cutout studio so those would be helpful to me as well as Raoul. I see that it is mostly intended for professional designers but if it is too hard for amateurs there will be a big gap for us when we need support. Thank you for the tutorials, they make Publisher seem doable.

I am a long-time Page Plus user although very much a beginner using it for personal projects which I really enjoy and find fulfil;;ing. I have purchased Affinity Photo & Designer but can't use the Affinity files on PagePlus which is the program I depend on the most...I primarily make cards for friends and family and have a website which I greatly desire to redesign. I see that Affinity Publisher is going to take a lot longer and since I need to use PagePlus my affinity software seems useless. Is there a solution to this? Also, can Affinity Designer be used to make a website? Thank you very much for any help someone can give me.
