great, thanks Patrick, i used the link in email which i got from signing up on the front page here: https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/signup/trial/photo/ just gave it a try again but same thing, still 1.5.2, will mail support and see if that helps.

i just downloaded the beta from front page, but it is still 1.5.2? but mac app store has the new 1.6.6, so is there any way to get 1.6.6 trial before buying it ? also are there going to be thanks giving discounts like last year ?
