I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask,… I’ve been looking at replacing my 2016 MacBook Pro and am tempted by a 14” MBP (for portability)I’ve often been told that it’s best to spend extra on RAM, but I’m wondering if spending an extra £400 to upgrade the RAM from 16gb to 32gb worth it? Going by what I’ve read, some say“yes”, some say “no”!p.s. I’ve also seen an Apple refurbished base model (with 16gb RAM) for less than the price of a new one, which I’m tempted by…

Been trying to use the paint brush in Photo for iPad (both blank document and on photos), but the brush has no visible effect - a blank document remains a blank document Any suggestions?.

I installed NIK Collection 3 today, hoping that I can use it Affinity Photo - but I get a message saying that the “image cannot be modified” (including the times when I try editing the image as a TIFF) Even though AP claims to be compatible with NIK, it seems not all of it is!

This may seem like a silly question - but are tIllustrator and InDesign files formats compatible with Affinity?

Can the X-Rite colour checker be used wit AP - or does LR6 still need to be used first? I’m considering getting a colour checker and would prefer not to skip from one application to another.... (I maybe wrong, but I’ve been reading that AP doesn’t currently support colour checkers)
