Ok I tried it a second time, because their was nothing wrong on the other devices even with the same image/images I tried it again on the iMac - opened the file- everything works pretty well - then I tried to flip the canvas- tools go in the wrong direction. So @Sima you were right, its just because of the flipping! I am unhappy with this, because I often flip the canvas to get a "fresh eye" on the image and then I make adjustments with the Liquify Persona or the Liquifier in PS So i am stuck in PS..... But its nice to know where the problems comes from. Can I change this in the Settings? Or do I have to mirror my brain, if I am working on a flipped canvas? Ok so i tried it out on another device - the tools work normally, everything is fine. It dont even work on the iMac. The tools just work in the opposite direction. Is their an opportunity to change the settings? Or has anybody another suggestion?

Ok i will try these thinks out but i scanned the image in... and even worked on a diffrent layer... but i will try the flipping stuff @toltec the push forward and the push left - tool

Hello Everyone, could it be, that I changed the settings on the Liquify Persona on my Mac? And if yes- where can I change it back? I just tried the tools. On the App on the iPad it works on the right direction, even on my Macbook. But on the iMac it goes straight in the opposite direction. I think at the beginning it worked pretty well, so I think I just changed accidentally the settings. Would be awesome if somebody could help me, maybe with a screenshot or something. I am not a native speaker, so if you explain it in englisch I will maybe never find it Have a nice day -Julian

Yeah the pen tool works pretty nicely, I even use them when I do photo-manipulation. But if i do concept art I need something very fast and handy.

Hello everyone, hello Affinity team, first of all, I love your software - its awesome! Using it for Mac and the iPad Their is a small thing, that would improve your software - its about the freehand selection tool. Can you "steal" the idea from the ProCrate app for the iPad? How their freehand selection tool works? Their selection tool is pretty cool. You can stop the selection if you lift of the pen, BUT if you put the pen again on the iPad, then it connects the points where you ended and were you started again. If you are ready with the selection, you can double tip on a little circle on the beginning of the selection, so its closes the selection. So the hole selection part becomes very easily. I´m not an native speaker, so I hope I could make the idea clear- in my opinion this is the perfect freehand selection tool, because you can take breaks and don't have to do the hole selection in one hand gesture or to refine it the hole time with selection/selection again and again. Maybe you could look at the ProCreate App to understand what I mean. I think this little feature would be a big improvement. Have a nice day - you guys and girls are doing great work!!!! <3 Oh and their is one last thing- could you change that you have so save the selections on the iPad version on an extra channel? That is pretty unwieldy . I would love it, if you just can do a thing like "command+click" like on the desktop version. Or just tip on the layer and hold for a sec. to make a selection- that would be pretty cool.
